How often should the sanitary disposal unit be serviced?

Units must be serviced on a regular basis. Most service companies offer a monthly or fortnightly collection. Monthly collection is generally sufficient depending on the usage. If you find the unit is full prior to each service, fortnightly services can be introduced.

Do I need to sign a contract?

Many companies work on a minimum of 12 month contracts. The reason for this is the time taken to install the unit and to include your premises in the service schedules.

Who owns the sanitary disposal unit?

Usually the sanitary disposal unit remains the property of the service company. They will provide a unit that their service people have been trained in servicing so that after each visit you will have a fully cleansed and sanitised unit.
